This Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal information collected through our website, our forms, our email addresses and our text messaging (SMS) program. By using our website or providing us your information, you agree to the practices described here.

We collect only what we need to quote freight, move loads and evaluate driver applicants.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making that produces legal effects.

4. SMS and Mobile Information

If you provide your mobile number and check the consent box on one of our forms, or otherwise opt in, you may receive text messages from LVA Logistics Inc relating to your application, load status, dispatch coordination and account service.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service or messaging platform providers, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

5. How We Share Information

We share personal information only in these limited circumstances:

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. As stated in Section 4, mobile opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties for marketing.

6. Cookies and Analytics

Our website uses only what is necessary to function. If we enable analytics, it is to understand aggregate traffic patterns, not to build advertising profiles. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; the site will continue to work.

7. Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, and afterward only as long as required by law. Driver qualification records and shipping documents are retained for the periods required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and applicable tax and commercial law. Records of SMS consent and opt-out are retained for as long as we operate the messaging program, so we can honor your choice.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold, including limiting access to staff who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not email highly sensitive documents unencrypted.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws. To exercise any of these, contact us using Section 12. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

10. Children's Privacy

Our services are directed to businesses and to commercially licensed drivers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes to how we handle SMS data will be posted here before they take effect.
