LVA Logistics Inc ("LVA Logistics," "we," "us" or "our") is a motor carrier and logistics provider operating in the United States, with offices at 2801 W 167th St, Hazel Crest, IL 60429. We operate under US DOT 3529531 and MC 1174530.
This Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal information collected through our website, our forms, our email addresses and our text messaging (SMS) program. By using our website or providing us your information, you agree to the practices described here.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only what we need to quote freight, move loads and evaluate driver applicants.
Information you give us directly
- Contact details — name, company, email address, mobile or landline phone number, mailing address.
- Freight details — pickup and delivery locations, commodity, weight, dimensions, equipment type, ready dates and reference numbers.
- Driver applicant information — name, phone, home base, years of experience, and documents you choose to upload such as a commercial driver's license (CDL) or medical examiner's certificate.
- Consent records — whether you checked the box agreeing to receive text messages, and when.
- Anything you write in a message, form field or email to us.
Information collected automatically
- Standard web server data such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and timestamps.
- Basic analytics about which pages are visited, if analytics are enabled on our site.
- AI chat widget conversations — if you use the chat assistant in the corner of our site, the messages you type (and, if you choose to use its voice option, the audio you speak) are sent to our third-party chat widget provider to generate a response. See Section 5 for how this provider is treated.
We do not collect payment card numbers, Social Security numbers or financial account details through this website. If a document you upload contains sensitive identifiers, please redact them first or send the document to us directly by other means.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making that produces legal effects.
4. SMS and Mobile Information
If you provide your mobile number and check the consent box on one of our forms, or otherwise opt in, you may receive text messages from LVA Logistics Inc relating to your application, load status, dispatch coordination and account service.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service or messaging platform providers, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
- Consent is voluntary. Agreeing to receive text messages is never a condition of employment, of receiving a quote, or of any purchase.
- Message frequency varies based on your activity with us — for example, updates while a load is in transit or while an application is under review.
- Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan.
- To opt out, reply STOP to any message from us at any time. You will receive a single confirmation message and then no further texts, unless you opt back in.

- Opting out of SMS does not remove you from email or phone contact, and does not affect your application or your freight.

5. How We Share Information
We share personal information only in these limited circumstances:
- Service providers acting for us — such as our messaging provider, email host, website host, and our factoring company for invoicing. They may use the information only to perform services for us.
- Our AI chat widget provider — the chat assistant in the corner of our site is a hosted third-party tool (served from
sidewidget.vercel.app), not something we run ourselves. If you use it, whatever you type or say to it is sent to that provider to generate a response. Don't share sensitive information — CDL numbers, SSNs, financial details — in that chat window. - Customers, brokers and consignees connected to a specific shipment, where necessary to complete pickup, transit or delivery.
- Legal and safety — when required by law, subpoena, regulation, or to protect the rights, property or safety of LVA Logistics, our drivers, our customers or the public.
- Business transfers — if LVA Logistics is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. As stated in Section 4, mobile opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties for marketing.
6. Cookies and Analytics
Our website uses only what is necessary to function. If we enable analytics, it is to understand aggregate traffic patterns, not to build advertising profiles. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; the site will continue to work.
7. Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, and afterward only as long as required by law. Driver qualification records and shipping documents are retained for the periods required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and applicable tax and commercial law. Records of SMS consent and opt-out are retained for as long as we operate the messaging program, so we can honor your choice.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold, including limiting access to staff who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not email highly sensitive documents unencrypted.
9. Your Rights and Choices
- Access and correction — you may ask what personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it.
- Deletion — you may ask us to delete your information, subject to records we are legally required to keep.
- SMS opt-out — reply STOP to any message, as described in Section 4.
- Email opt-out — reply asking to be removed, or use any unsubscribe link.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws. To exercise any of these, contact us using Section 12. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
10. Children's Privacy
Our services are directed to businesses and to commercially licensed drivers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes to how we handle SMS data will be posted here before they take effect.
